World Environment Day well celebrated by Lions of Gulu Metropolitan
Lions Club of Gulu Metropolitan Celebrated World Environment Day on 7th June 2015 with a massive tree planting in a local Primary School with a Blind Annex for blind children.
The club got 500 giant Lira tree seedlings from the National Forestry Authority and planted all of them.
The club also had a Guest Lion Geoff from Lions Club of Greytown in New Zealand.
He also supports some activities in Gulu with the support from Lions.
They initially supported the eye treatment of an albino boy in Gulu and they still wish to support other activities as well.
