Bomangombe camp where 176 patients were screened, among these patients there are 25 Albino children and we are now organizing for special eye glasses for these children which will help them against UV rays.
The camp is progressing very well and we will continue with on Monday 6th July We intend to screen about 3000 people in total.
The type of lenses used for the cataract surgeries is the bi focal which does cost TSH 1,000,000/=. We have already conducted 62 such surgeries and we intend to do about 100 more in the next week.
Apart from cataract other surgeries were also conducted to rectify sight of patients.
