On 17th August 2015, Lions of Bushenyi visited a school selected for the peace poster competitions and sensitized the pupils and teachers on the rules of the contest.
On 01st August 2015, Lions of Bushenyi distributed LIONS QUEST reading materials and delivered a talk to the students of comboni ss Burungira on the changes and challenges accompanying adolescence and on how to establish positive values during adolescence.
On 18th August 2015, Lions of Busia Greater decided to go for activity after a board meeting on a report that was presented by one of the Lion member who was admitted in the Health Centre IV sometime back, his report comprised of the following; He reported to the Board that the facility needed some attention when it came to BLACKOUT in the night where nurses felt it hard to carry out their routine work. Besides the expectant mothers/Ladies where most lacked resources to acquire some of the key items required in the process of deliveries i.e. “Mama Kits” among others. The members felt it healthy and brilliant if we rendered a hand onto this issue since the facility does not only support a few individuals but the community as a whole. Members through the Club began lobbying for at least a solar panel and also acquisition of Mama Kits for expectant mothers. Several offices, organizations, institutions and individuals were approached. A few positively complied via issuing out material support towards this noble course. Foundation for Christ Ministries played a key role too where most of its members positively bought the idea and chipped in. Four boxes of Mama Kits each containing 40 kit were acquired together with two (02) solar panels and 18 bulbs were realized. This however little we believe had caused an impact to the community where the Club was credited by the Municipality Mayor together with the In charge of the Health Centre IV (Beneficiary Centre) Members began he activity by doing some general cleaning around the Health Centre with looked so bushy
Busia Greater Lions Club on 14th/08/2015 conducted an outreach to Busia Secondary school where it engaged young people by sensitizing them on issues Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH). The focus of the activity was to increase knowledge and skills of the young people in order to make informed decisions and improve on their sexual reproductive Health. The activity was attended by Lion members that included, the Club President, Lion IPP, Lion treasurer, Director Membership among other Lions. During the activity 500 young people were reached and the school administration played a great role in the mobilization of the participants.
On 03rd August 2015, Lions of Jinja visited Patients at Lions Eye Ward to assess on needs of Patients and Eye Ward. Noted the need of Eye Glasses, an Eye Ultrasound Machine, a Laser Machine for Optical Maser, a Tonometer and a Drilling Machine for fitting Lenses in rimless Frames. Lion Dick Clark from Lions Club of Canada promised to send 50,000 Lenses with Frames and the Equipments mentioned.
On 09th August 2015, Lions of Mbarara Central conducted activity with the sole purpose of supporting pupils from St.Helen's school of the blind to raise funds during their musical album Launch held at Mbarara catholic social center.
On 01st August 2015, Members of the Lions club of Kasese raised shs, 250,000/= and also collected some assorted clothes which members distributed out to a family of 15 who were really helpless and needed help. This family stays in Kidodo - Kasese Municipal Kasese. Members also gave the family 50kg of posho flour, 25 kg of beans, one box of washing soap. Members were very happy for helping the needy as per our "WE SERVE"
On 17th August 2015, Lion members mobilised the community and town council official to participate in the garbage/kasasiro collection and disposal in town. The activity was oganised and funded by Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Lions Club.
On 07th August 2015, Lions of Soroti held fundraising dinner in partnership with Rotary Club of Soroti Central and Soroti Regional Referral Hospital. The aim was to raise money to kick start the first phase of the Project that was estimated to cost 125 million Uganda shillings ($36,764.7) and going to start operation by November, 2015 if funds allows. The guest of honor was Hon. Mike Mukula the member of parliament of Soroti municipality. Some Civil society organization, head of institutions and doctors both in private for partnership and government were in attendance. A total 234 guests attended the dinner. The dinner raised cash Uganda shillings 5,183,800/= ($1,524.6) pledges of Uganda shillings 47,650000 ($14,014.70). The organizing committee thanks all and calls for more support.
Lions Club of Moshi Kibo had organized a leadership seminar at the first district governors advisory meeting for zone 111 in moshi on 21st August 2015 at Kaka’s Restaurant.

All the participants were very happy as it was also the re-orientation for the old members but as many new members were present they got the orientation through the lions fundamentals.
