Environment Cleaning!

On 08th August 2015, Lions of Kumi Central together with Leo's of Ngora High School and Red Cross students visited Bukedea health facility. The teams cleaned the compound of the health center by way of cleaning and slashing, gave some goodies in form of food, sanitary items to the sick children, mothers and women awaiting birth of new babies .

Malaria is still the number 1 threat to children. Most of the patients were kids below ten(10) years all suffering from malaria. Treatment had to be undertaken using intra venous method. The existence of the facility has saved many children's lives . A total of thirty three(33) children and their mothers / care givers and pregnant women expecting to deliver babies benefited from the assistance and support.

Young people , youth and Leo's were exposed to the culture of offering support and assistance to the sick , poor and vulnerable in society.
