In line with the Centennial Service Challenge: Protecting our Environment, the Lions Club of Arua has set a target of planting 5,000 trees by April 2016. This activity will be undertaken in phases at various public places including schools, where they intend to engage pupils in this activity with the view that they own and nurture the tree until maturity.
In pursuit of this objective, the lions Club of Arua last Wednesday planted 340 trees at Arua Golf Club.
