Lions of Pwani Dsm and Leos of Pwani Dsm joined together to celebrate Childrens Dignity Week. The clubs donated 4 dozen tshirts, 3 dozen bibs, 3 dozen stockings and 3 dozen shoes, water and juice to Five star boys team playing football in Biafra..
The kids have been practising football since the age of 11 years. The coach Mr. Kassim trains them and has made sure that kids are selected for Matches held in neighbouring countries.
The boys also played a friendly soccer match with the guests and 2nd VDG and the score was nil nil.
2nd VDG Lion Rizwan advised that the kids can be sent for youth exchange programs and that the club will do the needful.
The activity was graced by District Chairperson of Leo Club Lion Sara Qadri and of Children/ Community Lion Protas Mmanda. The D/O advised the kids to concentrate on studies and keep football in mind and stay away from bad habits.
After completion of the activity, the Guests which attended the activity approached to join the club as Leos.
